    This makes a good case for long-term investing and dollar-cost averaging. Buy in small chunks over the course of a decade or two, let it grow, and time your exit. Better yet, get someone who knows what they're doing to help you do your financial planning. Y'know, rather than trusting something you saw on the internet.
  • Interesting, but if If we invest long term, short term variation shouldnt be an issue no matter where we start.
